This page explains how to delete your account in the Unvault app and on unvault.co, and what happens to your data when you do. Unvault is operated by Unvault, the developer of the Unvault app on Google Play and the App Store. You can delete your account yourself after logging in.
Open your account settings and choose “Delete account”, then confirm. Because you’re signed in, we know the request came from you — no extra verification needed.
Account details — name, email address, phone number and login credentials.
Item submissions — photos, descriptions and valuation requests you uploaded.

Retained
Kept only where the law requires it
Completed transaction records — offers accepted, payments made and related identity details, kept for up to 7 years to meet tax, anti-money-laundering and precious-metals dealer record-keeping obligations.
Shipping and insurance records — tracking and claims data for packages sent to or from us, kept while a claim could still be made.
Support correspondence — messages relating to a dispute or legal claim, kept until it is resolved.
How long it takes
Deletion is completed within 30 days of verifying your request. Data in routine backups is overwritten on our normal backup cycle, within 90 days.
Items or payments in progress
If we’re holding an item of yours, or a payment is still pending, we’ll finish that first — either by completing the sale you accepted or by returning your item with insured shipping — and then delete your account.
Delete some data, keep your account
You can ask us to delete specific data, such as photos of past submissions or a saved address, without closing your account. Contact support and tell us what you’d like removed.
