Your $100 Amazon gift card is issued in the first week of the calendar month following your referred friend's qualifying transaction. For example, if your friend completes a qualifying sale in March, your gift card is issued the first week of April. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's on its way.
Yes. Your friend's transaction must have a total value of $500 or more for the referral to qualify. Transactions below this threshold do not trigger your $100 gift card or count toward your karat level. The $500 threshold applies to the gross transaction value before any fees or discounts are applied.
Your friend must enter your personal referral code at the checkout stage of their first transaction. Once entered, 20% is deducted from their transaction fee. The code must be applied at the time of checkout — it cannot be added retroactively after a transaction is completed.
A completed transaction means your friend has sold a piece of jewelry through Unvault, accepted their final offer, and the total transaction value is $500 or more. A valuation alone, a declined offer, or a completed sale below $500 does not qualify. The $500 threshold applies to the gross transaction value before any fees or discounts are applied.
Your karat is based on your total cumulative qualifying referrals. You start at 10K with your first qualifying referral, rise to 14K at 5, 18K at 10, and 24K at 25. Each tier unlocks additional perks on top of everything from the previous tier. Your karat never goes down.
When your fifth unique qualifying referral completes their first transaction, you rise to 14K — Karat Gold — and our team will reach out to arrange delivery of your curated Vault jewelry piece. This is a one-time reward: a handpicked item selected by our curation team. Pieces vary and are non-exchangeable for cash value.
No cap. Refer one person or one hundred — every qualifying referral earns you $100 and moves you closer to 24K. Your code never expires and there's no limit on earnings.
No. The Karat Club applies to new Unvault customers only. If your friend already has an account, the discount and your reward will not apply. Each person can only be referred once.

Terms & Conditions

The Karat Club — Unvault Referral Program  ·  Effective April 2026

1. Program Overview

The Karat Club ("Program") is Unvault's referral program, allowing existing customers ("Referrers") to invite new users ("Referred Friends") to the Unvault platform. Participation is subject to these Terms & Conditions and Unvault's general Terms of Service. Unvault reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

  • Referrers must have an active, verified Unvault account in good standing.
  • Referred Friends must be new to Unvault — individuals who do not currently hold and have never held an Unvault account.
  • Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Unvault are not eligible to participate.
  • Self-referral is prohibited and will result in disqualification.

3. Referrer Reward — $100 Amazon Gift Card

  • A $100 Amazon gift card will be issued to the Referrer in the first week of the calendar month following the Referred Friend's first qualifying transaction.
  • A "qualifying transaction" is defined as a completed jewelry sale where the Referred Friend has accepted Unvault's final offer, the transaction has been fully processed, and the total transaction value meets or exceeds $500.
  • Transactions with a total value below $500 do not qualify. The $500 threshold applies to the gross transaction value before any fees or discounts.
  • Getting a valuation, initiating a sale, or declining a final offer does not constitute a qualifying transaction.
  • Payout dates follow a monthly schedule. Referrals that qualify in a given calendar month are paid out during the first week of the following month.
  • There is no maximum on the number of referrals a Referrer may make. Each qualifying referral earns one $100 gift card.
  • Gift cards are sent to the email address associated with the Referrer's Unvault account. Unvault is not responsible for gift cards delivered to an incorrect or outdated email address.
  • Gift cards have no cash value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or combined with other offers.

4. Referred Friend Discount — 20% Off First Transaction Fee

  • Referred Friends receive a 20% discount on their first Unvault transaction fee by entering the Referrer's personal referral code at the checkout stage of their first transaction.
  • The referral code must be entered at the time of checkout. Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to a completed transaction under any circumstances.
  • The discount cannot be combined with any other promotional discount or offer.
  • The discount applies to the transaction fee only and does not affect the final sale offer amount.
  • The discount is valid for the Referred Friend's first transaction only and expires 12 months after account creation if unused.

5. Karat Tier System

  • Karat tiers (10K, 14K, 18K, 24K) are based on cumulative qualifying referrals. Tiers are achieved at 1, 5, 10, and 25 qualifying referrals respectively.
  • Tier benefits are additive — each tier includes all benefits from previous tiers.
  • A Referrer's karat level will not decrease once achieved.
  • Unvault reserves the right to modify tier thresholds or benefits with 14 days' notice to existing participants.

6. Milestone Reward — Curated Vault Jewelry Piece (14K)

  • When a Referrer reaches 14K (5 qualifying referrals), they become eligible for a curated Vault jewelry piece as a one-time milestone reward.
  • The specific piece is selected at Unvault's discretion and may vary. The reward has no fixed monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or alternative items.
  • Unvault will contact the Referrer via their registered email to arrange delivery within 14 business days of the milestone being reached.
  • Delivery is available within the United States only. International delivery may be arranged at Unvault's discretion.

7. Fraud & Abuse

Unvault reserves the right to withhold, reverse, or void any reward where it reasonably suspects fraudulent activity, manipulation of the Program, use of automated tools, or violation of these Terms. Accounts found to be in breach may be suspended or permanently banned from participation.

8. Limitation of Liability

Unvault's total liability in connection with the Program shall not exceed the value of the reward(s) at issue. Unvault is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in the Program or inability to use a reward.

9. Changes to the Program

Unvault reserves the right to modify reward values, eligibility criteria, tier structures, or any other aspect of the Program at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Referrers via their registered email with a minimum of 14 days' notice before taking effect for existing participants.
